Export Formats
Current
Motionly currently exposes MP4 export from the top toolbar. The browser evaluates the project at its canvas resolution and FPS, synchronizes animated assets, and sends frames to the local FFmpeg server for MP4 encoding. Project audio is mixed at its persisted start offset.Current Limits
- Audio embedded in video clips is muted; use the project audio track for exported sound.
- Export requires the local Motionly server and FFmpeg.
- Animated SVG and GIF fallback use real-time playback because exact seeking is unavailable; Motionly reports this limitation and any CSS-keyframe differences.
- WebM and GIF code exists internally but is not exposed as a supported editor workflow yet.
Planned
- Visual 24, 30, and 60 FPS choices
- Resolution and aspect-ratio presets
- 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 4K output choices
- WebM, GIF, PNG stills, and image-sequence export
